Mr Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Overall: Tasty food but a bit on the expensive side. The extended review... Food: 4/5 - We went family style and ordered a bunch of things. The standouts for me was the duck. These were entrees that were definitely more pricy but were definitely tasty and more unique. Service: 4/5 - Friendly and attentive staff Ambiance: 5/5 - The ambiance is amazing. The decor is well curated and if the round tables with the inset lazy Susan were available to purchase I'd definitely consider it.

Food was very good although the smoked duck was not my thing. Duck is already so rich, and the traditional Peking style preparation cuts through the gamey flavor while the smoked style here was overwhelming and heavy at the end of the meal. Cocktails were out of this world - blew me away. In general good food good vibe, but the service was lacking for a Michelin starred place at this price. Brief, vague explanations of the food, felt kind of haphazard. Maybe an off night.

Came here on a Saturday evening for dinner with my family to celebrate Father's Day. We made reservations so we were seated upon arrival. We got the tasting menu, which had five courses (plus a complimentary fermented quail egg work caviar and fried sesame ball with red bean filling). My favorite item from the tasting menu was the abalone tart - the abalone was so tender and the tart shell perfectly crispy. We added on the Tea-Smoked Liberty Farm Duck, which was served Peking style with the wrappers, hoisin sauce, green onions, cucumbers. That was amazing and definitely a highlight of the meal; the smokiness and tenderness of the duck was phenomenal! We also ordered fried rice, which had shrimp and fish roe in it and also tasted delicious! I was surprised at how good something as simple as fried rice could taste. The guinea hen with restorative broth was probably the only item that disappointed me; broth was way too salty. Rounding out the meal were two yummy desserts - strawberry rhubarb rose geranium and fried sesame ball with red bean filling. Our server Mark provided excellent service and was super attentive, always checking in to make sure we had water, our table was clean, and the food was to our liking. We were definitely super full after the meal. Highly recommend trying this fine dining Chinese restaurant! The quality of food and level of service is worth the price you pay.

If you gave this place anything less than 5 stars it's because you did not order the duck!!! I can't even begin to describe all the textures that came out here. The skin was so crispy and thin, without being oily or fatty. The meat was tender and not too gamey. The condiments with the bun were amazing; my absolute favorite being the liver pâté given as a side/bun paste. We also did the tasting menu and although each course was delicious, they weren't the star of the show. Really authentic Chinese flavors but with an elevated twist. This is a fantastic spot if you're feeling adventurous and in the mood to try something new, but not necessarily a cozy comfort spot.
